The Bigger The Bag

One of the biggest misunderstandings about LinkedIn is that it’s not a social media platform. Think again. Although many professionals reside there it has quickly become a content creators playground. Here is why you need a LinkedIn profile in 2024. The bag is much bigger here.

When I first joined the platform in July 2011 I was an active-duty Navy Recruiter in Silicon Valley. Professionals serve in the military too. Although I was unable to recruit one successfully I became familiar with the platform and wrote my first article in May of 2016.

In March of 2021, LinkedIn rolled outCreator Mode.” Over 11 million users have activated this feature since then. Do I have your attention yet? I know I get it. It’s another platform that requires time and effort. Imagine a potentially lucrative contract manifesting from a quick Google search.
