Randall Lee White (born January 15, 1953) nicknamed “The Manster”, is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL) from 1975 to 1988. He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins from 1972 to 1974. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame (1994), the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1994), and the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.

Changing the Game

This February get used to reading and hearing “The Manster” when it comes to this month’s Top Stars Facebook promotion strategy. Who is Randy White AKA “The Manster” anyway? He was the lynchpin for the Dallas Cowboys’s Doomsday II Defense. How did he become a manster?

Each month this year I want to provide my Facebook audience with a golden opportunity to cash in on autographed jerseys. We kicked off February with ‘The Original” 88 and now we shift to the defense for good reason with #54 Randy White.

White is nicknamed “The Manster” (half man, half monster). He studied Thai Boxing under Chai Sirisute, the founder of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA. White’s round kick reportedly registered 400 psi on a gauge after two months of training.

Charlie Waters, the Dallas strong safety, dubbed White with the nickname “Manster,” because Waters reasoned “The way Randy plays he has to be part-man and part-monster.” Can the Cowboys draft another Manster?
