The Dallas Cowboys' latest valuation according to Forbes is worth more than $9 billion. The total valuation of the league itself sits at $163 billion. How could the Cowboys be worth more than other teams like the Kansas City Chiefs who recently won Super Bowl 58?

ESPN has recently been tied to the NFL in the news. Word on the Street is the leader in sports entertainment and the NFL is about to get married. Why? The NFL is America’s Cash Cow. Streamlining matters.

Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that the NFL and ESPN are in “advanced talks” that could result in the NFL taking an equity stake in ESPN, and that would give ESPN control of NFL Media. What does this mean? The NFL could be only the first sports league to do a deal with ESPN.
