Seven years ago, I published my first article on LinkedIn. Prior to retiring from the Navy, I wanted to share my thoughts from a recruiter’s perspective. Especially when it comes to the 3 holidays each year for veterans, and how civilians should communicate with them as a result.

Today, November 11, 2023, is Veterans Day. Which recognizes and honors all veterans who currently serve, and or were discharged under other than dishonorable conditions. Even active duty veterans themselves may be uninformed when it comes to these 3 holidays but today I want to make sure you know the difference!
