Prior to retiring from the Navy in WA state in 2016, I drank alcohol for 23 years. My grandfather died in his sleep in Oklahoma City as an alcoholic, and my Father was a recovering alcoholic before passing in 2018. WA is one of the current 25 states in America where cannabis is legal. When you hear me yell that the “West Coast” is the “Best Coast” this is another reason why. Veterans who receive benefits from the Veterans Administration like I do will not lose their benefits in legal states as a result.
