Returning to the rain, wind, and cold in the PNW from Las Vegas is not my favorite. Neither was Mike Zimmer for (DC) defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys. It was Jerral’s favorite, however. Why? Becuase of that word familiarity at the Winstar Casino poker table.
Since Dan Quinn’s departure to DC from the Star in Frisco, the coaching cards of the Cowboy's defensive side of the ball began reshuffling in Texas. First Joe Whitt JR followed DQ to DC to act as their new DC. Next, we watched Defensive Line Coach Aiden Durde depart for the PNW to become the Seahawk's new DC. Poor Al Harris.
When Jerral said he was going “ALL IN” he was telegraphing his next play at the poker table. Because of “Familiarity.” I’m not buying into this Zimmer coaching hire just yet. Yesterday via press conference he spoke officially as the new DC. Just my second day back from LV in the lab it’s catch-up time.
