Pay attention to Medium travel bloggers. It costs to be the boss. YOLO.

Yo-leven

Want to roll the dice with me in Las Vegas on February 11th? Today I want to share with you how the field bets are working. There’s a sequence of events I would like you to pay attention to. Welcome to the craps table. There’s the waitress, get you a drank and some chips.

One of my favorite bets on the craps table in SIN CITY is the YO bet. Before we get to the nitty gritty I want to share with you how I have been rolling the dice my whole life. Thanks to the number 11 for keeping me on course.

Yo-leven defined. Eleven is called out as “yo” or “yo-leven” to prevent being misheard as “seven.” An older term for eleven is “six five, no jive” because it is a winning roll. During the come-out, eleven is typically followed by the “front-line winner.” No to be confused with YOLO.

I was in HIGH School in the 90s in Thrall, TX. The boys and I always had a good dice game to attend on the weekend. Especially after Friday’s game under the lights on the gridiron. We even constructed a portable wooden craps table smoothed out with green for the occasion.
