NFL National Tight End’s Day NTED Dallas Cowboys San Francisco 49ers 2024
National Tight End Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday in October, this year it will be celebrated on October 27th when the Cowboys travel to Levi’s Stadium WK8 this NFL season. Is this genius content marketing by the NFL?

TIGHT ENDS MATTER

Another streaming stroke of genius marketing this 2024 NFL season right out of the Silicon Valley script. During WK8 this season the Cowboys will travel again to Levi’s Stadium to face our historical NFC rival. In addition, the game was scheduled on National Tight End’s Day. (NTED)

The first NTED was celebrated in 2019, and in 2023, it fell on October 22. What started as a random sideline joke between George Kittle and Jimmy Garoppolo has become a full-fledged football holiday globally.

Last October we paid a visit to Levi’s Stadium and got our britches beat off our asses 42–10. Why is this important? Remember that stunt Kittle pulled with the FUCK DALLAS t-shirt? Oh yeah, that part. I know Jake remembers. I heard Kittle might try it again according to Netflix.

Jake Ferguson attended the Tight Ends University along with QB Dak Prescott in Nashville, TN last month. Founded in 2021 by George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen, Tight End University was created to bring the TE community together. Are TEs only as good as their QBs?

SUPER BOWL BOUND

Super Bowl 59 will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans next February. This matchup between 2 QBS in the league’s MVP discussion last year has serious NFC implications this season. More importantly on the battle for TE supremacy day in the NFL.

Super Bowl 60 will be held at Levi’s Stadium in February 2026. What does that mean? Nothing other than the Niners have been to 2 Super Bowls in the last 4 years and lost their 3 recent trips now. Can the Cowboys get to SIX before the Niners somehow? We’ve been fortunate yet again Cowboys fans.

Before we can get to THE BOOT next February this NTED game in October will be featured on a Sunday Night Football blockbuster ticket. All eyes will be on us Cowboys fans. What a grand stage to promote this position of play within the game. Which TE will win this WK8 NFC blockbuster battle?

I like to pay attention to the little things. Before you know it our WK8 SNF blockbuster game will feature 2 of the toughest TEs in the NFC. Kittle is becoming quite the star after being featured in the latest NFL Netflix offering with Reciever.

CONTENT MARKETING

The NFL perfectly scheduled this game this season. Last season no longer matters. After the Cowboys lost that game our Texas Coast Offense started clicking. The Niners however lost 4 straight games afterward. That last content season no longer matters.

The most important thing a creator can have is a genius marketing strategy. Give the person a raise who aligned these Stars for football fans like us WK8 on NTED. Between America’s Team going “ALL IN” and those physical 49ers still searching for post-season gold rush success anything goes.

“We were on the sidelines after Celek’s score when Jimmy asked, ‘What is it, like National Tight Ends Day?’” Kittle recalled. “I was like, ‘yeah, it’s National Tight Ends Day. It’s a holiday. Tight ends all over the league are scoring touchdowns.’ That’s how it came to be. We just kind of rolled with it.”
