Shark 29 Charities Raises Domestic Violence Awareness Through Open Door Network
The Open Door Network operates the only emergency homeless shelter in Kern County for families with children, as well as two domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking supportive shelters.
Kenneth Gant’s sister Cynthia was shot in the back 4 times in front of her 5-year-old son in Lakeland Florida. An incident he felt powerless over. Ever since then “The Shark” better known by Dallas Cowboys fans vowed that he would do whatever he could to protect other victims of domestic violence.
One Star One Family has entered the chat 3 consecutive years in a row now. Together they hosted the first annual Shark29 Charities Celebrity Golf Tournament at Rio Bravo Country Club in Bakersfield, CA this weekend. Over 80 golfers attended.
