When I met my wife Stevie in Santa Clara, CA for our second date at the bar in 2008 the Lakers and the Celtics were in the NBA finals. The formation of the tri-fecta all star squad captialized on this opportunity. All I can remember is for those folks who were not Laker fans, they seriously disliked Kobe.

Let’s back up even a little farther though. It was 1996, and I was on a bus riding around the US Navy base in Pearl Harbor, HI. All the Sailors on the bus were talking about how the Lakers traded for Kobe, and will the young kid pan out after those airballs he threw up.

Little did she know after just meeting me how big of a Lakers fan I actually was. About a year later we had a son named Bryant as a result. Go figure, right? Of all places he was actually concieved in Maui, HI.

A few years earlier in 2004 Facebook popped up on the scene of computer screens and infant smart phones. Web 2.0 was introduced and walla the birth of The Social Organism according to these next two gentleman.
