In 1998 Trick Daddy Dollars introduced a new demographic to the internet with his second album WWW.THUG.COM on Slip’N SLide Records. This innovative marketing idea has inspired me to share with you how story mode on Facebook & Instagram needs to be in your 2024 content marketing strategy.

Back In the Days

Music heavily influences how I create Instagram & Facebook stories. My father was a drummer and his father was a guitar player. Music runs in my family. Before the internet and social media, the brick-and-mortar record stores ran the music game. Now it’s all about the game of streams. Today’s article was inspired by, Maurice Young.

Five years after the World Wide Web came online in 1998 Trick Daddy Dollars was capitalizing off his 2nd CD (Compact Disc) WWW.WTHUG.COM in the Sunshine State of Florida. Dade County to be exact. What do Trick Daddy Dollars and social media have in common?

First of all please stop going LIVE on Instagram and Facebook saying “I don’t own the rights to this music.” That’s a myth. There is no protection in that. Both platforms owned by parent company Meta have made significant process in the music department. It’s encouraged to share on story mode.
