Today around seven-in-ten Americans use social media to connect with one another, engage with news content, share information, and entertain themselves.

LinkedIn was founded in Mountain View, CA. Nine-teen years later it’s the professional network of networks. It’s not too late to start building/ creating your BRAND on the platform. Matter of fact you’re early.

The network officially launched on May 5th, 2003, just nine months before Facebook launched at Harvard. LinkedIn is the oldest of the major social networks still in use today.

Thie LinkedIn vision connects more than 18,000 employees in dozens of locations across five continents — including the global HQ campus in Sunnyvale, California.

If chosen carefully and strategically, your words can become powerful on LinkedIn. Many professionals in some social media circles I know claim it has zero value. I shared 41 reasons with them here in 2019 that said differently.
