I recently shared why Micah Parsons's podcast The Edge would be the blueprint for other Cowboys players on YouTube to put their content creator hats on. After sleeping on it and asking the question WHY are NFL players turning to podcasts off the field here is what I came up with.

YouTube and the NFL are married for the next 7 years. After ditching DirecTV since their relationship began in the 90’s the switch made cents. It also created a new way for the league’s content to reach fans on the platform owned by Google. Have you ever wondered why videos come up on a simple Google search? Keywords matter when it comes to Search Engine Optimization.
