Take It From A Veteran

First of all, mental health matters. It ain't easy being a Dallas Cowboys fan these days. Here I am in WK5 of this NFL season questioning my sanity again with this team. Like so many seasons before. There is a fine line between commitment and sanity. How do you cope?

As a Cowboys fan, it’s easy to log out of social media, turn off the TV, and ignore the bullshit. When you’re a Fan Base Creator it hits differently. When I created my Facebook group Official America’s Team its purpose was to centralize fans who attended games and provide a means to connect them through social media.

I recently shared that when America’s Team loses the rest of the world wins. After the 49ers unbuttoned their Levi’s and showed the world who the real big dog on prime time was, it raised another question. What’s my strategy for publishing content around my favorite NFL team now? Winning is good for business. Losing bodes well for everyone else.

One thing is for sure, I would never turn in my Star and quit this team. That’s commitment. Despite the pain, hurt, and affliction it…
